In pursuance of orders of Hon'ble Supreme Court passed on 10.08.2015 in Civil Appeal No. 6157-6158 of 2015 (Arising out of SLP (C) No. 17074-17075 of 2015), online applications are invited for recruitment to the following posts of Assistant Professors by 23.12.2015.
(1) Assistant Professors in Super Speciality - 38 Posts
(2) Assistant Professors in Speciality - 262 Posts
(3) Assistant Professors in Dentistry - 16 Posts The online applications must be followed by submission of hard copy of the same along with copies of certificates/documents by the last date 11.01.2016.
The post of Assistant Professor in Government Medical Colleges belongs to Group-A of the Odisha Medical Education Service in the Pay Band of 1.15,600-39,100/- with A.G.P. 8,000/- along with usual allowances as sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time. Selection process : Selection of candidates shall be made as per the Odisha Medical Education Service (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2009 taking into account the academic career and performance of candidates in the Viva Voce Test.
Educational Qualification :
Candidates should possess D.M in respective Discipline, M.Ch in respective Discipline/ M.D in respective Discipline. Candidates should have relevant experience.
