National Centre for Earth Science Studies (ESSO-NCESS) is an autonomous research institution under the Earth System Science Organisation (ESSO) of the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India situated at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Scientist D : Masters Degree in any branch of Earth Sciences or equivalent from a recognized university with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade in qualifying degree with 7 years experience in the field of coastal processes, oceanographic data collection and processing and application of numerical models for interpretation of coastal processes. Doctoral degree will be counted as three years experience.

Salary : P.B 3; 15600-39100 + Grade Pay s.7600/-

Scientist B : Masters degree in any branch of Earth Sciences or equivalent with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized university in qualifying degree.

Salary : P.B 3; 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
